What do you think this ad is about?
-> I think that the ad blames Obama for not preparing for real problems such as high oil price, electricity tax, and gas price. Also, the advertisement expresses Obama is just an issue maker like Britney Spears or Paris Hilton, so the popularity is superficial.

What's the point?
-> In the ad, John McCain alreay prepares the problems. The reason is why people have to choose him.

How do you think it will affect voters?
-> Yes, I think that the ad explains McCain is a practical leader in a nutshell. If the voters are suffering the problem now, they can become McCain's supporters.

I think this ad could not be the standard to decide the next president because this ad just considers McCain's opinion. Why does not this ad focus on Obama's good opinion? All of their opinions have some advantage and disadvantage ! In this sense, I want most of American not to have a biased view.

In this ad, by stating “Obama is the biggest celebrity in the world.” with showing some celebrities’ images like Britney Spears and Paris Hilton who are generally considered nasty and shallow idiots by the public, McCaine intended to put down and make fun of Obama’s “likability” power.
Especially, this kind of images can be an effective eye-catching strategy toward the Democratic supporters who are relatively younger and more opened to the pop culture.

What is the point?
Obama’s promises are not realistic.

This ad can affect voters especially some of Obama supporters who are affected by the public stream which has been occurred nowadays if they are simply supporting Obama because of the favorable public attention to Obama unlike other kind of boring and conservative politicians. This ad possibly affect that those voters to think about him again based on his promises rather than the person’s likability.

It seems to be an advertisement McCain attacking Obama.
A sentence most interesting is this sentence. “ Is he ready to lead?”
I want to ask McCain opinion like this sentence.
Is preparation made of you?
And higher taxes, more foreign oil is not correct.
Because the reason is still as the President was not him.
This advertisement seems to be only an advertisement attacking a counterpart.
